At the beginning of this month, Qualcomm launched the Snapdragon 888 SoC and many brands announced that they would unveil phones powered by this Chipset next year. One of the companies to make such an announcement was Xiaomi and the company said that its Mi 11 series will be one of the first smartphones powered by Snapdragon 888. So far, we have seen many leaks of the Xiaomi Mi 11. Today Xiaomi officially announced the launch date. The company announced that the Mi 11 series is launching on December 28 which means these will be the World’s first smartphones powered by Snapdragon 888.
As the poster reveals, the Xiaomi Mi 11 series will launch at 7:30 PM (local time) on Dec. 28. The company did not share any information on the specs of the Mi 11 lineup. As for the specifications, The Geekbench listing revealed that the Snapdragon 888 powered handset is equipped with 12 GB of RAM and Android 11 OS. Its 3C appearance revealed that it may ship with a 55W fast charger. Both Mi 11 and Mi 11 Pro are expected to debut as the first Xiaomi phones with support for quad HD+ resolution. Both phones are also expected to arrive with 120Hz refresh rate support.
