After rumours, iQOO has confirmed the launch of iQOO Neo8 series smartphones at an event in China on May 23rd. iQOO already confirmed that the Neo8 Pro will be the first phone to be powered by the latest MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ SoC.
The teaser shows that the phone will feature self-developed V1+ chip for the first time. It also shows a new sensor along with the cameras, which is said to be anti-flicker sensor along with 50MP main camera with Sony IMX866V and OIS. The back has a leather-like finish.
Based on earlier rumours, the phone will feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K 120Hz AMOLED screen with ultra-high frequency PWM dimming, in-display fingerprint scanner, up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, up to 512GB UFS 4.0 storage and Android 13 with OriginOS 3.
We should know more details about the iQOO Neo8 and the Neo8 Pro in the coming days, before the phone goes official in less than a couple of weeks.
