Yesterday, Redmi released the first teaser of the Redmi Note 11S. The smartphone is expected to launch at some point this month. Publication Xiaomiui.net has released the renders of the Note 11S to reveal its design.

As can be seen in the render, the Redmi Note 11S will be sporting a punch-hole display on the front and a quad-camera unit on the back. It seems to be fitted with a side-facing fingerprint scanner. The overall design of the Note 11S is similar to the Note 10S with some changes in the camera module.

According to the publication, the Redmi Note 11S is codenamed as “miel” and its shortened model number is K7S. The model numbers 2201117SI (Indian) and 2201117SG (global) are associated with the Note 11S.
Past reports have revealed the Redmi Note 11S’ camera setup has a 108-megapixel Samsung HM2 primary camera, an 8-megapixel Sony IMX355 ultrawide lens, a 2-megapixel OV2A macro camera, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
The publication had previously reported about the cameras of the Note 11S based on the findings from the Mi code, but at that time it did not mention the depth sensor. The publication claimed that the depth sensor is no longer counted as a camera in Mi code.
Other reports have revealed that it will have a 90Hz AMOLED display, a 13-megapixel front-facing camera, and a MediaTek chipset. It may arrive in three options such as 6 GB RAM + 64 GB storage, 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, and 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage. It may arrive with MIUI 13 preinstalled. A tweaked version of the same phone is expected to arrive with the POCO M4 Pro 4G in Indian and global markets.
